Under the new law, PMDs are now identified as lorries, so PMD raiders need to comply with and observe most basic road regulations, comparable to bike riders. However, motorised mobility scooters like e-scooters don't adhere to the safety standards for roadway vehicles, so they can't be granted registration and can't be ridden in public. Earlier in
